Who we are

Prop Firm Academy operates propfirmacademy.co.uk, a site that compares proprietary trading firms and shares discount codes and offers.

What we collect

When you use the contact form. We collect the name, email address and message you submit. We use this only to reply to you. We do not add contact form submissions to our newsletter list.

When you subscribe to the newsletter. We collect your email address, and only if you choose to give it to us. We use it to send you updates about prop firm deals and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email we send.

Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records technical information about visits, including IP address, browser type and pages viewed. This is standard for any website and is used for security and to keep the site running.

That is all. We do not run analytics on this site. We do not have accounts or logins. We do not collect payment information. We do not build profiles of visitors.

Cookies

We do not set any cookies of our own. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

However, this site contains affiliate links. When you click a link to a prop trading firm, that firm may set its own cookies on your device to record that you arrived from us. We do not control those cookies and we cannot see them. If you want to know what a particular firm stores, read that firm's own privacy policy and cookie policy before signing up with them.

Who your data is shared with

To run the site we rely on a small number of service providers: a hosting provider, a form submission service, and an email newsletter platform. These providers process data on our instructions only. They are based in the United States, so your information may be transferred and stored outside the UK and EU. If you want to know exactly where your data is stored, or you have any other questions or concerns, email us at contact@propfirmacademy.co.uk and we will tell you.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with the prop firms we link to.

How long we keep it

Contact form messages stay in our email inbox until we no longer need them. If you want a message deleted, email us and we will remove it.

Newsletter subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe. Unsubscribing removes you from future emails.

Server logs are retained by our hosting provider according to their own retention schedule.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or EU, you have the right to ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete your data
• stop using your data

Email contact@propfirmacademy.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data and you are in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Age restriction

This site is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email contact@propfirmacademy.co.uk and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmitting data over the internet is completely secure. You use this site at your own risk.

Affiliate disclosure

Prop Firm Academy earns commission when you sign up with some of the firms listed on this site. This does not change the price you pay, and in most cases the discount codes on this site reduce it. Commission does not affect whether a firm appears on the site.

Risk warning

Trading leveraged products including CFDs and futures carries a high risk of losing money. Nothing on this site is financial advice or a recommendation to trade. Prop Firm Academy is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. You are responsible for deciding whether any firm or product listed here is right for you, and for checking that firm's own terms before paying anything.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
